Review of The Crash Reel (2013) by Anthony G — 23 Feb 2014
Great story, dark and at times depressing but with a very uplifting underline message. Well made, long for a documentary at 2 full hours, but fully gripping throughout. Excellent contributions to the film by including the experiences of other downhill athletes, some of which interacted with Kevin and his family in ways that benefited both of the athletes.
Kevin's family also played a monumental role in being incredibly supportive while at the same time realistic and cautious about Kevin's future. Film was a a very moving experience and I highly recommend it.
