Review of The Cowboys (1972) by Jason M — 02 Feb 2008
One of, if not the best film Wayne ever made. The story of an old ranch hand who is struggling to hire cowboys for the annual cattle drive, so he hires boys from the local school. The screen play is very well written, John William's musical score is outstanding, and the acting is truly wonderful, especially from the boys.
Even if you are not a John Wayne fan, this really is a film worth seeing.
