Charming comedy based on a novel, later a basis for a tv sitcom. Glenn Ford shines as Tom Corbit, and Ronny (Opie) Howard as Eddie, in this version, the "courtship" is for Tom and a lady friend.
Yet, like most kids, they tend to steal the show and the young Ronny does that.
My call~ Excellent family comedy.
