Review of The Court Jester (1955) by David P — 05 Feb 2010
Comic genius, in my opinion. Nothing particularly great in terms of story line or character development. However, this movie is meant merely as a showcase for Danny Kaye's comic and musical gifts. The tongue twisters as well as his ability to play the bumbling idiot who just happens to be in the right place at the right time make this movie worth watching.
A very good natured comedy with some pretty funny songs. :).
