Review of The Counterfeiters (2007) by Líam P — 22 Aug 2008
I was not entirely impressed with this Oscar winning movie. The story is well phrased and plot adequately potrayed. But I felt the pacing was jarring, too pedestrian, and the conclusion seemed to easy.
The directorial quirks were impressive, showing that there may well have been a better film underneath all the brooding and moody contemplatiion.
