Makes you ask the question: What would principles would I compromise to stay alive - or even worse, comfortable. Seared in my memory - right next to the vision of Oskar Schindler saying "I could have done more" in Schindler's List - will always be the main characters in this film trying to justify their choices to the emaciated survisvors of the REAL concentration camp.
Would you help Nazis counterfeit money if it would keep you alive? Great question, and this film makes the answer not as easy as you think. I don't dig subtitled foreign film, but this is a good one.
