Compelling German movie involving the largest counterfeiting operation of all time. Named Operation Bernhard, it was the Nazi's last ditch attempt towards the end of WWII to flood the economy of the United Kingdom with fake bank notes. It centers on a Jewish counterfeiter and a group of men in a concentration camp who are forced by the Nazis to participate.
Youâ??re able to see the men torn between trying to survive and the guilt associated with helping the people who are imprisoning them. Great cast and interesting story. For you people who donâ??t like to read, sorry, there are subtitles.
