Review of The Counterfeiters (2007) by James D — 11 Nov 2008
The thought that the Nazis had counterfeited currency to the tune of 10 times Britain's then foreign reserves had me amazed. A story about the largest counterfeiting operation which could have been used to fund the entire war and the survival tale of the prisoners in the concentration camp who were involved in doing this.
Worth a watch.
