An absolutely undeniable work of art, this film showcases Coppola's talents and his expert understanding of his material. The thriller handles its central character with such great consideration and the technical conventions of the film stretch far across a history of invention, suggesting studies on the various types of sound be it produced, created, recorded, repeated, and so on.
