Review of The Conversation (1974) by Alex J — 31 May 2008
This film is kind of a mixed bag to me. The story is original and like the main character you really want to know what's so important about the conversation that was recorded with your imagination going wild with theories.
I'm a firm believer of character development in film, but here I almost feel there's too much focus on Harry's personal life which can get sort of dull. The reveal near the end is great and worth sitting through some of the duller moments of this film.
