Review of The Conversation (1974) by Nicolas L — 06 Aug 2008
What could I say that hasn't already been said? There is a small pub in buried in the back of Pittsburgh's south side well off the main street. It is surrounded by residences. There is no sign, no clearly marked entrance, no indication of anything.
You usually hear about it from a friend in college and even then it's tough to find. When you go in, it is like you entered another world, a bar that is legendary in sound, action and atmosphere; a place that is packed and explosive.
Once you go there, you never forget it and after you leave, you wonder why no one told you about it before. This movie is like that pub.
