Review of The Conversation (1974) by Aaron L — 30 Dec 2008
The Conversation is an incredible film, dripping with paranoia and a completely unique sort of suspense. Gene Hackman gives a richly nuanced performance in the lead role with brilliant subtly and, in doing so, scores what should certainly be considered one of his finest roles in a very long and very respectable career.
Highly recommended. 4 stars.
