Review of The Conversation (1974) by Cameron P — 03 Feb 2009
This is a brilliant film. Unfortunately though it moves like a tortoise. But that's also the key. It's a dark, moody movie that slowly unfolds as you learn more about what the conversation is about and what sort of character Gene Hackman is.
The twist at the end works very well.
