Review of The Conversation (1974) by Mic R — 10 Apr 2012
A great piece of cinema that demonstrates you don't need car chases and giant robots to make a good movie. Slow paced '70s style with a genuine 'jump' moment. The third act ties it all up nicely.
Sound and montage wise nothing less than you'd expect from Murch. Surprised to find Harrison Ford in a supporting role, looking more aged than when he appeared in that '77 blockbuster. Must be the truth only art house can reveal .
