Review of The Conversation (1974) by Gaurav S — 05 Sep 2012
Coppola directed this lil gem after Godfather and before Godfather 2.
Begins slow, but never ever loses the grip. The final hour is absolutely thrilling. Gene Hackman delivers a great performance. But Coppola is the real star. He pretty much owned the 70's A-grade cinema. This is film-making at its best!
