Review of The Conversation (1974) by Matthew B — 28 Apr 2014
"The Conversation" is one of Coppola's best and Gene Hackman has given one of his finest performance that he has ever done. The rest of the cast like Cindy Williams, Harrison Ford, and such do all their jobs well enough.
The premise of the move is fantastic and it does go at a pretty good pace, and I never got bored with it as I am watching it. The music by David Shire is well and it does fit the tone of the movie. The cinematography is beautifully shot and really love how it was done as the story goes, how the audience can figure out what is going on in Harry Caul's mind.
I really love this movie and highly recommend to everyone. Check it out!
