Review of The Conversation (1974) by Allen G — 20 Apr 2013
I don't know if this film's ending has satisfied me. Harry gives up, loses steam, loses sanity, loses interest, finds no purpose, or something. I think Coppola denies us the satisfaction of understanding this character, which, if not brilliant, is annoyingly captivating.
