Review of The Constant Gardener (2005) by Lauro J — 24 Jan 2011
It has been quite some time since a movie with these qualities has been seen on the big screen. Excellently filmed, edited, scored and intelligently adapted. A huge complement to the involved team which manages to bring us to this world in a human way.
It seems that Meirelles has a gift of film-making that is close to the ones of Scorcese or Coppola in a sense of creating a lasting impression by telling complex stories in a digestible manner. Very impressive in every sense of the word.
