Little known fact -- I wanted to be a parapsychologist when I was a kid. To the point where I was actively looking at the only 2 colleges with parapsychology departments at the time - UC Berkeley and Duke.
I am grateful that I did not go down that road because (1) the departments were axed, and (2) investigators like Ed and Lorraine Warren apparently have terrifying lives. The Conjuring films have been great entries into the horror genre.
