Review of The Conjuring 2 (2016) by Philip W — 09 Jan 2017
Coming from someone with little interest in the horror genre as a whole, I still need to credit The Conjuring 2 for being a chilling and interesting film overall. Set in London after a young girl is possessed by a demon, Lorraine and Ed Warren are tasked with saving this young girl and her family from destruction as they battle with the demon inside the house.
An original story, good dialogue and child acting, and intense horror sequences throughout, this film is what horror films should aim to be especially now as the genre has diminished so far down over the years.
