Review of The Conjuring 2 (2016) by Andrew P — 14 Jul 2016
The movie spent entirely too much time trying to tie the Warren's story into that of the London haunting victims, however my significant other and myself were left scratching our heads. the use of the nuns outfit to create the demon was entirely unbelievable on many levels, demons for one are not crafted in the same form as man, and catholicism was not founded at the time demons took shape and a demon cloaked as a nun is not realistic.
this take is based off a biblical standpoint, one may argue that the demon took that form in order to strike fear into the Warren's but I didn't see it that way. I did enjoy many facets of the movie and I would watch a third if they produced one, however I would like to see a more biblically correct version.
