Review of The Company You Keep (2012) by Dave L — 18 Aug 2013
Director Robert Redford has not had an impressive string of films in recent times. "The Company You Keep" is just an average thriller that passes the time but one will probably forget about the movie a couple of days later.
It focuses on former left wing radicals (Weather Underground) and their troubling legacy as they have gotten older. Some are still sympathetic to the movement and others have moved on and "adopted to the system".
There really isn't much earth-shattering here. The film features a great cast where one finds themselves going "oh, that's the guy from ___".
