A disappointment. yes. I'm one of those who adored the likes of Redford, but ask now - what happened here? I understand the need to justify art on behest of truth, but the cliche of Robert portraying a single dad as.
....a 70 something man? Made me cringe. Only the likes of Carey Grant can I accept this. I give this flick 2.5 stars and not zero because Redford is still masterful in his film making, but the storey line was too contrived towards accommodating a seemingly narcissistic impression of a guy we once adored for his truth in imagery.
