In America, we give our lives to our jobs. It's time to take them back. - Regarding the fact that I never used to live in the U.S. and to work there, I'm not able to provide an object opinion about what it's like to be an US citizen.

Despite the controversial plot and poster, the movie includes the current main problem in the world nation. The point when the wave of unemployment starts to roll begins quite fast during the first minutes.

The movie unites incredible leading stars as Ben Affleck presented quite old in this film, Tommy Lee Jones as human saver, Kevin Coster not looking as old as he really is, Maria Bello as life-destroying HR employee presenting herself naked, Craig T.

Nelson ("The Proposal") as arrogant clichee of a boss aiming to make profit and Chris Cooper as another victim who loses his beloved job. The main challenge which all unemployed "Company Men" have refers to their age.

The movie tells the protagonist's stories separately when all episodes cross each other at a certain point of time. Unfortunately, the movie does not include many emotions or feelings as in "The Pursuit of Happyness".

This drama starring Will Smith presented the same topic but convinced far more by a real struggle to survive. Here, only the ordinary reasons for getting unemployed are shown in a likely way. Certainly, the despressing atmosphere, anger and frustration of the single men become somehow apparent, too.

The movies was directed by "ER" inventor and producer John Wells ("Third Watch") and was produced by TWC (The Weinstein Company). No extraordinary acting performances but even more outstanding lines as spoken by Phil Woodward ("My life ended and nobody noticed.

") make the movies special and worthy to cope with a theme which currently accompanies not only the people living in the states, rather every nation is concerned about unemployment.
