'The Company Men' finds no charm in the situation of its protagonists, which is understandable because its not a charming situation. That doesn't mean it makes for an entertaining film though.
The script is good and the cast is very well-rounded and chosen, but the film drags on until the hour and 40 minute run time feels like 3 hours. It sacrifices an audiences' ability to watch the film with ease for an honest approach to the story and its characters.
I guess you cant really blame anyone for that.
