Review of The Company Men (2010) by Annette S — 09 Jan 2012
A well-paid executive slowly climbs up the down staircase of being fired. We see his arrogance shuttered, his expectations ruined, his family supports him along the steep downward curve until he morally accepts downshifting.
As his former colleagues start sharing his fate, they don't know what to do with their lives broken along with their careers; he seems to be determined and optimistic. Nice psychological story, particularly if you can associate with the protagonist.
