Review of The Company Men (2010) by Tanvir M — 03 Jun 2012
A look at the ruthlessly corporate America where greed of the CEO's are rewarded at the expense of numerous workers' despair. Slow moving, but gripping narrative of trials caused by downsizing and human resilience and adaptability in its face.
Throws a lot of contemporary issues at the viewers -' A CEO gets 700 times the salary of a worker? Is he working 700 times harder??' Interesting and topically relevant, though at times fails to transcend the Hollywood constraints.
