Review of The Comedy (2012) by Evan P — 09 Oct 2012
To complain about this having no arc is useless. I found the situational walk-through structure very hypnotic and tasteful for a character who seemed so lost. This movie was hilarious and incredibly sad simultaneously.
It was a thrill to battle with these emotions. This could be seen as our Gatsby-esque Jazz Age of excess, articulating the sub-culture with complete accuracy and hitting even deeper when necessary. Awesome film.
