Review of The Comedian (2016) by David S — 29 May 2017
A film I didn't find THAT bad. It knows what kind of movie it is. It stars a vulgar Robert DeNiro as a retired tv star taking his shot at stand up comedy. This film is raunchy, big time. Some of DeNiro's jokes are horrible and some people will be disgusted.
I however have a very crude sense of humor and loved it haha. Some lines are I found absolutely hilarious. Like "I'm having a kid, I know I know. I'm old as fuck, I fell asleep halfway through pulling out.
" In the end it still is an enjoyable film to some, definitely for me.
