This is a good movie about a old time pool hustler who takes on a protege. The movie stars Paul Newman and Tom Cruise. They both give stellar performances. This movie is directed by Martin Scorsese. He has made much better movies than this one but it still has his touch.
He knows how to spin a good story on the big screen and get the most from his actors. With a solid story, acting and Scorsese directing it made for a entertaining watch.
