Review of The Color of Money (1986) by Jonathan F — 21 Oct 2007
I assume Martin Scorsese did this one for the money he needed to make The Last Temptation of Christ. There are a few nice Scorsese touches in a few scenes, but it's plodding and boring and predictable.
Scorsese knows better than anyone that story-telling is not just about telling a story. He took the day off on this one.
