I spent 7 or 8 years of my life hanging out till closing time at variuos pool halls and this movie captures pool halls to a tee.all factors come together in this movie to make it great. paul newman is like good wine,,, thats all im saying and tom was perfect for that role and a young forrest whitaker plays his bit role to perfection too.
. this is arguably scorseses best work.
