Quite simply one of the most entertaining films I've ever seen. Paul Newman is beyond incredible ( that should be no surprise ) in reprising his role as "Fast Eddie" Felson, Tom Cruise turns in a fantastic performance, and Scorsese executes his vision near-perfectly from the director's chair.
Add an extremely clever script to all this and you've got what could very well be the greatest sequel ever made. 4 stars.
