The Color of Money is not a bad film and to be honest isnt Scorsese's best work and yet I can watch it and just enjoy and simply view it as entertainment. It lacks from his previous film and I felt there was nothing new in the screenplay.
The best performances I think is by Mary Mastrantonio and Helen Shaver although sadly her performance gets quickly erased. The camera work can be fun to watch but in some scenes its a bit to much as is the music.
Seeing the hustlers and the players play the game of pool kept my interest up.
