I have seen this film many times and really like it. Good on many levels, but it often doesn't get the credit it deserves. the cast is good, though Cruise is till finding his legs, you can tell he is a star in the making.
...and Newman is the old pro, a lot of people say his Oscar was a gimme for past work, but I say he deserved it...he's excellent. It is just flat-out entertaining as well. Check it out.
