Scorsese's comeback film, this sequel to The Hustler is dramatically and visually exciting. I've heard tell (and suspect myself) that Newman won the Oscar for this as a belated Oscar for the Verdict, and that's hung over this flm's head unjustly.
This is must see cinema.
