Review of The Color of Money (1986) by Graeme H — 30 Jun 2011
A fantastic flick and a high-water mark for Tom Cruise. I'm still in shock that Ebert panned this. I remember him giving a thumbs down at the time it came out and couldn't believe it. This is a great Marty movie and an outstanding performance by Paul Newman.
For once, Tom Cruise's annoying persona worked in his favor, too.
