Review of The Collector (1965) by Christopher S — 31 Mar 2010
Sharp psychological suspense piece from veteran director William Wyler, based around two strong performances by Terence Stamp and Samantha Eggar. Well-crafted with a number of memorable moments, but as far as thrillers of confinement go, this isn't quite one of the absolute best, but it is a solid thriller.
Excellent score by Maurice Jarre.
