Review of The Cobbler (2014) by James W — 13 Mar 2015
The Cobbler is about shoe repairer Max Simkin (Adam Sandler) who hates his job. That is until he uses an old stitch machine passed down to him. Which when he wears the shoes he stitches of other people, he looks like them. And enjoys living their lives.
The film has really bad reviews since critics are used to hating everything Sandler does these days. But the Cobbler has it's charming moments and Sandler isn't bad at all. And the Cobbler is certainly much better than his last couple of movies.
