Review of The Cobbler (2014) by Ryan S — 22 Jun 2015
Every child knows the kids show Franny's Feet, a cartoon based around a little girl that goes on adventures by putting on different types of shoes.. Well meet the live action male version of Franny's Feet.
From the first little bit you think it's gonna be another Bedtime Stories type of film, it does make you think that up until it loses it's grasp and puts you into another direction. Would you call this a comedy? a comedy makes you laugh and has memorable scenes, this is more like a dramedy due to the core of what this film is really about.
Some scenes will make you giggle but other than that it's just gonna make you want to go straight to the end to have everything revealed. Is it a sequel worthy movie? it could get that treatment, just don't be crossing ur fingers for it to happen any time soon.
If you look past all the comedy bits, there is a heartfelt moment in the mix that will sure grab people's attention.
