Something about this Cloverfield just feels incomplete. I'm hoping there is an extended cut which brings the story together better than the released version. J.J. Abrams is a Master. I just wish that Mastery showed in this film.
Is it the worst SciFi movie ever? No. However, it certainly doesn't feel like a Cloverfield movie. There is a combined 10-15 minutes of film scattered throughout which tries to tie it into the Series.
Subtract those scenes and this is just a very bland SciFi movie. Atleast it free on Netflix. That's a plus.
