Review of The Cloverfield Paradox (2018) by Jeremy G — 21 Feb 2018
This movie didn't make a whole lot of sense. The connection to cloverfield felt very forced and manufactured. It is almost as if the movie was made before they decided to make it a cloverfield movie.
It really just is a generic sci fi movie that doesn't really explain anything about why things are happening. It doesn't offer any satisfying answer for why arms are crawling independently and walls swallow people arms and people barf up worms.
I get that particles were colliding making different universes collide with each other, so that explains why they find someone from another universe on another ship, but it doesn't explain why the other impossibilities happens.
There is also some unneeded subplots like the man saving the girl. Overall, waste of time don't bother.
