Review of The Cloverfield Paradox (2018) by Lager96 — 06 Feb 2018

The Cloverfield Paradox is a good space thriller but a very average Cloverfield film. The cast does a phenomenal job with what they are given which helps elevate this movie past the ok script. I feel like there are some sections that were added in after the fact to help "connect" this to the other Cloverfield movies.

However, it seems like this film has made the timelines even more confusing given the introduction of multiple universes. It is cool to see the Cloverfield monster (or monsters) but that doesn't make this movie great.

While this movie is a little disappointing, I'm still interested where they go with this franchise.
