Review of The Class (2008) by Matt D — 04 Jul 2009
At the start I thought this was going to be one of those 'inspirational teacher films' but it didn't turn out like that. Because of all the scenes being filmed in the school environment it did feel very closed off and it showed the barrier between the staff and the students.
It shows that you can't reach every child and that teachers aren't infalable. Although it could do with trimming down the running time as it was a slow starter it developed into a beautifully shot very personal film.
