Review of The Circus (1928) by Stacey B — 29 Nov 2008
Another brilliant, yet underrated, Chaplin film. It's hilarious from the very beginning; the first five minutes where he's being chased by the police are some of the greatest moments in the entire film.
And no one but Chaplin would think to clean fish from a fishbowl to appear busy. Genius.
