Review of The Circus (1928) by Sarfaraz A — 07 Jul 2012
I have been watching lots of flicks of Charlie Chaplin, since I was young. The Circus has turned out to be one of his best movies, written and directed by Chaplin. It is also notable for bringing Chaplin an honorary Oscar Award for the film.
In this classic movie, Charlie actually succeeds in diverting all his attention to the centrally themed picture. And no doubt it is work of an skilled person like Charlie to write laughter after laughter surrounding just one single layout.
I have watched it several times, and all the time I feel like watching it for the first time.
