Review of The Circus (1928) by Paige M — 25 Mar 2009
Brilliant as always. Not only does Chaplin star as the lead, he directs, produces, writes, and scores the film. The story is a classic and you just can't not love the Little Tramp as he embarks on an adventure in the circus.
It is one of my favourite Chaplin films because his abilities to do some of the actual circus tricks are amazing. He was an icon and was truly gifted at...well...everything! A genius of our time.
