Review of The Circus (1928) by Alec B — 21 Apr 2016
The Circus (1928) ????
Knockout comedy from Chaplin may not be his best, but still delivers one great gag after another as Tramp finds work and the girl of his dreams at circus. Scene with the lion in the cage, trapeze walking; too many highlights to count in superb, must-see comedy.
