Review of The Circus (1928) by Sofia Å — 29 Jun 2009
Chaplin at his best -- both sweet and funny and with a great score composed by the great man himself. None of the biting social criticism, instead just pure humour with horse pills and monkeys on tight ropes.
Favourite: the curiously persistent mule who chases the Tramp whenever he sees him.
