Review of The Circle (2017) by Demarkus H — 28 Apr 2017
The idea at the beginning is a good one but the story fades off very quickly after 45 minutes. You understand how she gets in and how her life has changed. How ever, the disconnect and the lack of emotions of the actress makes the story a bit confusing.
We understand the hard decisions she has to make but it is not well communicated with the acting. The loss of her best friend combine with the ending make you wonder if the movie could have been much more than what it is.
